Daddy Daughter Dance and Valentines

The same day as Addison's birthday party was the Daddy Daughter Dance. Addison got her hair done and wore a fancy dress and one of my fancy purses. Dad gave her a beaded flower ring and she was so happy. Brian met some other dads and daughters at the hockey restaurant for dinner. Addie skipped the kids pizza that they had available for the event and wanted chili instead! She's always had such a creative appetite. After dinner Brian called me from the car to ask if they should skip the dance, I guess she fell asleep in the backseat. But I told him to continue on and good thing, she woke up in the parking lot. They enjoyed the dance and about a half hour before it ended she marched up to Brian and told him she was tired and ready to go home! Addie is decisive. Overall it was a great day for her, birthday party and the Daddy Daughter dance which she called the Daughty Dance, so cute.

The very next week the preschool had their Valentines parties.Arlene and I both attended the parties and that way she and I could both share duties in each kids classroom rather than me running back and forth and leaving one child alone.Addie was especially thrilled to do valentines projects with Nana!
