Today we got up and pretty much had to leave for the airport right after breakfast. It was very hard to leave the gorgeous sunny day that was headed toward 80 degrees! We cut it really close to flight time because we didn't realize how long security would take but we won't discuss that any further since I had wanted to leave WAY earlier.
We got on the plane and it immediately left, Addie said to me, hurry Mom, get my seatbelt buckled! The kids were very mellow on the trip home, they didn't talk as much and they were tired so I just popped in a movie and didn't try to do a ton of activity. The return flight went so fast, I guess not having to sit on the tarmac waiting to be de-iced saves a bit of time.
Braden got a bit restless toward the end but he's like me, we don't like to sit for long periods of time. Soon we were off the plane, grabbed our luggage and were on our way home. Kids are in bed, Brian is asleep too, he fell asleep right after the kids went to bed! I'm off to bed as soon as I can because tomorrow I will not be running in 75 degrees, I'll be shoveling some crazy amount of snow, like a foot or more is predicted in the next 24 hours!
I think I'm going to get online tomorrow and check for Florida flights in March, I want to go back already! It was the best family vacation and yes the kids had their crabby moments but overall it was so much fun for all of us.
