Amusing Addie Comments

Addie usually has her best comments at bedtime.  Recently she was tired, laying in bed and trying to tell Brian about her day and then she stopped and said “I’m just talking all crazy.”  It’s become a phrase we use in our house now!  Another night I had finished reading her a story and she asked me to pull her pajama bottoms down a bit because they were choking her butt.  I had to laugh out loud at that one!  That was the same night that she came downstairs naked 30 minutes later complaining that she can’t wear pajamas because they choke her butt.  I took her back upstairs to find some pajamas that would be more comfortable and she chose a purple Easter dress.   I said fine and that is what she slept in!  Sometimes you do what you can just to get your kids to sleep at night and prevent butt choking.

And since we are in a very opinionated clothing phase she has come up with a phrase to describe cloth, she will tell me that she can't wear that dress or shirt because its "all bunckly"  What she means is that its bumpy or wrinkled up.  She says that about her pajamas when they roll up in bed or her blankets, etc.  Its hard not to laugh because she's so cute when she says it and thinks its a real word!
