Day 5 in Naples

Today we had a lot to do on our last vacation day!  I went for my last run around the property while the kids went with Nana to go shopping.  Then we all got dressed up and went to Sunday brunch at the clubhouse.  The kids were a hit since there was a dance floor and they entertained themselves dancing around for the other diners!

We surprised Addie with a birthday sundae with a candle in it.  It wasn't officially her birthday until the 31st but since we'd be spending her birthday on a plane we made brunch her celebration.  Or at least the beginning since the rest of this week there will be multiple celebrations!

After brunch we packed up a beach bag and headed to Naples Beach.  We had intended to walk to the end of the pier in hopes of seeing dolphins jumping.  But the kids hit the sand and the gulf water and we went no further, they couldn't have been happier playing around in the sand and water.  Toward the late afternoon it got a bit cloudy and started getting a lot colder so we headed back home.  We fed the kids a drive thru dinner on the way home.  They were tired so I got them into bed and they played around in their room but eventually settled down so that the adults could have an amazing, relaxing dinner.  We grilled steaks, made a salad and somehow went through all the cheese, crackers, beer and wine left in the fridge.  It was a perfect last night dinner overlooking the palm trees!
