Today Brian got up early and drove to Traverse City to buy our dinner ingredients from the Farmer's Market. The kids and I stayed at the cottage and did crafts since it was raining outside. We made perler bead creations and painted rocks and wood. Ironically when I was young and spent days up here I loved painting rocks and wood!
When Brian got home we had some baked goodies and headed to the lake because the rain had passed. That evening we had fresh arugula salad, steak and wine. The kids had a taste of salad and some steak! We decided to be European and had our cheese plate with more wine for dessert.
It was still a great day despite the rain shower!
