Our first full day of vacation and the kids headed right to the lake. They had so much fun in the water and amused themselves enough that Brian and I actually were able to sit and read! We also got out our new nets and were surprised to actually catch some stuff. We got several types of minnows including a striped fish that buried itself in the sand on the bottom.
Addie got to choose dinner that night and she chose spaghetti of course. Brian took the kids into Traverse City to buy all the ingredients from our favorite deli, Fogarelli's. The kids really impressed the staff with their love of food and let them sample all kinds of treats. They came home with dinner and fantastic meats, cheeses and bread for lunches, all chosen by the kids based on their taste testing of meat and cheese!
