Addison's 1st Day of School

Addison started preschool today. She was not so excited about having her picture taken and its very tough to get her to look at the camera and smile normally but I'll let that all go because she is a brave girl. First, I took Braden down to his classroom figuring he'd been there already and would quickly walk in. No such luck, he was difficult about putting on his name tag and kept clinging to me. I told him I needed to take Addie to her class and I'd be back in a few minutes so he stood in the hallways trying not to cry.


Despite witnessing her older brother act nervous Addison marched into her classroom and I showed her the cubbies and we put on her nametag. She didn't hesitate for a second to run over to the table with the pet shop. I told I was leaving and she blew me a kiss and that was it, no tears, no hanging on my leg, nothing. I went back to Braden's classroom but he was busy with his workbook and smiling with his new boyfriends.

So off I went for a nice jog and a shower all by myself! Two hours goes by very fast and its not nearly enough time but I'll enjoy it while I can.
