Addie Ballerina

Today was also Addison's first ballet class. Last year she took a dance class that was fun games, dance and some gymnastics all mixed in. She liked the class a lot but I had to do the moves with her the entire time. We took 2 sessions and even with her friends in the class there I was dancing along with her while the other moms sipped coffee on the couches.


Well this year she's all grown up. I was registering her for the class and I thought she was next to me but then I looked and she had gone onto the dance floor all on her own and was warming up with the teacher.

She never once needed me, I watched from the observation room with windows and she studied every move the dance teacher did and tried so hard to repeat it herself. She was very chatty with the teacher and gave her a hug at the end. She takes this ballet very seriously and its so cute!
