Catching Up....

The fall and then all the holidays kept us super busy but also having lots of fun. So as usual, I'm way behind and probably have lost a lot of stories along the way. But someday I hope the kids just enjoy the snippets of memories that I do manage to write down. The time is flying and the days are full of so much activity that its really a challenge to try to blog but I will keep trying. Maybe I need to change my blog name since I'm not really keeping up with the Kennedy's at all.

In October we visited Rodgers Farm like we do every year and fed the farm animals and had a hayride. The kids enjoyed Halloween this year more than they ever have, they still haven't stopped dressing up. And they talk daily about what they are going to be next year. Today Braden is carrying around a children's catalog and mentions every 15 minutes that he needs the skeleton costume for Halloween next year!

Braden had a party at his preschool and Nanie, Heather and Gma all attended. It was a fun night with lots of family. The kids and I decorated lots of pumpkin gourds and I was impressed by how detailed the kids made them. On Halloween we hosted a party with chili and hotdogs for the playgroup families and it was fun for all, parents and kids. The kids enjoy candy but still haven't caught onto trick or treating. We went to a few houses but then quickly headed home because they just wanted to eat their candy and play with their friends!
