Brian had some time off between Christmas and New Years so we took a field trip to Henry Ford Museum. We spent almost the entire day there and saw everything. I had no idea the kids would be so into it all.
The highlight was definitely the Lego Castle Exhibit. The kids could play in parts of the exhibit and Braden enjoyed building castles with Legos.
We had lunch at the Wiener Cafe after checking out the authentic Wienermobile parked in front. Braden and Addison shared a foot long hotdog and pretzel.
We toured the automobiles and trains, rode the Rosa Parks bus (ironically I couldn't get the kids to get off the bus), looked at dollhouses and a really detailed Lego Train city.
We spent a long time building vehicles with K'nex and racing them down the tracks. Brian and Braden had so much fun that I went out and bought K'nex for them the next day! We all made paper airplanes to take home and saw the first plane ever made by the Wright Bros.
