On Saturday of Easter weekend we got all dressed up and headed to Polo Fields to have brunch with the Easter Bunny. Addie may not have been thrilled with the Easter Bunny last year but this year she was terrified and cried whenever it was nearby. She kept saying "Easter Bunny go home now" which was funny despite her terror. We finally came up with the story that the Easter Bunny went home in a black Jeep which was the perfect car for the Easter Bunny since it could fit the tall ears in it. Braden loved the story especially because he helped create it since there was a black Jeep parked outside near where we parked and he kept talking about that car the entire morning.
The kids absolutely loved the food, ate tons of bacon which they call "macon." Then we headed outside for an Easter egg hunt and the kids were really into that this year. We went back to Nana and Papa's house for more egg hunting and a big Polish dinner.
Sunday was very low key, the kids found their Easter egg baskets and enjoyed reading their new books and toys.
