We had another great Fourth of July weekend, minus the fireworks! The weekend started off great with the Spurlock annual bash at their house in Addison Township. Bob and Arlene took the kids up to the cottage and Brian and I attended the party, enjoyed smoked pig and danced to a live band.
The following morning we all drove to the cottage and spent a few days in the sun. We also attempted to let out floating lanterns at night but Addison was terrified of the fireworks so Brian and I went to bed very early to calm her down. She did better the next night with the windows closed and lots of fans on to block all the noise. So overall it was a great holiday weekend and a lot of fun with the family!
